Hospiscare - Annual Review 2009
The Hospiscare Annual Review, the third we have designed for them, was released in October. This year's theme was 'Why we raise money and how you help us care for local people' - a bold message that we gave a bold layout.
They wanted to give people the facts and figures, and answer the big question; 'Why we raise money', by looking at the detail - how they care for local people. It cost Hospiscare almost £4.5m to provide their services last year, and 55% of that came from voluntary funding. You can find out more about Hospiscare at www.hospiscare.co.uk.
We began working with Hospiscare in 2007, when we developed a new visual identity for them. This involved retaining some of the existing elements (the logo), developing others (expanding the colour palette) and creating some new ones (a consistent design style for their printed material). In keeping with the two previous annual reviews we have produced, we used recycled paper for this project (Cyclus Offset), and a printer with FSC accreditation (Brightsea Press).
